About the Society

A responsible home for serious scholarship.

The Society for Economic and Regional Policy Interactions exists to advance research where modern economics and regional economics meet, and to apply that research to real policy questions.

As an academic society, we are the responsible body behind our journal: we own and govern the publication, uphold its ethical standards, and protect its editorial independence and long-term continuity — independent of any single individual.

We are building a community of scholars across institutions and countries who share an interest in how regions, economies, and policy shape one another.

Our Objectives

What the Society sets out to do.

Publish

Maintain a rigorous, transparent, peer-reviewed journal bridging economic and regional policy research.

Convene

Bring scholars together through seminars, working papers, and — in time — conferences and special issues.

Uphold standards

Champion research integrity, ethical publishing, and open scholarship across everything we do.

Governance & Leadership

Founded with purpose, guided by an advisory board.
